Student Success 2021 District 67 candidates engage with the community at two virtual events

Student Success 2021 District 67 candidates Emily Bernahl, Anne Geraghty Helms, Carl Kirar, and Alice LeVert, hosted two virtual “Meet the Candidates” events, on February 21st and 24th. These candidates were able to answer questions submitted by community members, as well as speak to the important issues at hand for Lake Forest’s elementary and middle schools, including Sheridan, Cherokee, Everett and Deer Path Middle School.

Questions asked at the event include:

  • How important do you feel it is to get kids back in school full time?

  • What is your response to parents that feel they are not being heard?

  • What are your thoughts on the shared services agreement?

  • What strengths does our district have and what challenges do you see ahead?

If you were unable to attend either of the events, we wanted to be able to share them with you! Below is a link where you can view a recording of the “Meet our Candidates” from February 24th.
